Hedges Family Estate, over the years has helped many non-profit organizations and continues to contribute an average 10% of net profits to charitable causes. We receive so many requests each day that it is impossible to participate in all the wonderful charities that come our way.
Following is a partial list of the non-profits that we have helped in the past few months:
Harold LeMay created a waste disposal and recycling business in Tacoma, Washington after returning from the second world war. His hobby was collecting cars- 3,500 to be exact, from the British- American Allard, to an Italian Zagato, and everything one can imagine in between. Sometime in the year 2010, the sixty million dollar "LeMay, America's Car Museum" will rise in a magnificent example of architecture at Tacoma, Washington. Hedges Family Estate is proud to be a major sponsor and the preferred wine of the LeMay Museum, a partnership we expect to participate in for decades to come.

Giving back to the community is an important part of Hedges Family Estate commitment. One of our major recipients is the Pacific Northwest Ballet, one of the best ballet companies in our nation. Ballet is an art that brings beauty, music and grace to our everyday world. It is also a discipline that teaches physical endurance and positive reinforcement to young minds. We applaud PNB for it's world-class performances, strong community involvements and commitments to children through its many classes and programs.

With three little grandsons running around Hedges Family vineyards on a daily basis it is no wonder that Tom and Anne-Marie would want to help other children through philanthropy. One of their major recipients is Camp Korey at Carnation Farm. It was started by Tim and Donna Rose, who lost their teenage son Korey to cancer. The camp is specifically designed for children with chronic or life-threatening illnesses.
